Job Description

Join our passionate team at KELY Support Group and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in Hong Kong. This role focuses on building relationship with young people and delivering drug and alcohol awareness programme across Hong Kong.  

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Drug and Alohcol Awareness programmes in both English and Cantonese
  • Establish and foster relationships with youth participants, engaging with them inside and outside of the programme
  • Assist in workshop planning and programme evaluation to ensure continuous improvement
  • Coordinate and support student volunteers and interns
  • Actively participate in and provide support for organisational events
  • Work on weekends occasionally to support events and programmes

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Social Work, Social Science, Public Health, or related disciplines
  • Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Experience working with young people in various settings
  • Ability to deliver engaging workshops and presentations
  • Strong team player with the ability and confidence to work independently
  • Non-judgmental and empathetic, with the ability to relate to young people

Job Description

Join our passionate Mental Health and Wellbeing team at KELY Support Group and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in Hong Kong. This role focuses on providing mental health expertise & support to the team while implementing and running Project Connect, KELY referral service to connect young people with professional help with the aim to increase young people help seeking behaviour.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement KELY referral service, Project Connect, under KELY's core focus area – Mental Health & Wellbeing
  • Supervise, train, and support team members involved in case management
  • Liaise regularly with other mental health organisations/services to make necessary referrals of youth cases and explore future collaborations
  • Deliver workshop around mental health and wellbeing to youth, parents, teacher or other stakeholders
  • Support the overall team in responding and managing youth mental health crisis across KELY and other wellbeing programmes and mental health initiatives where needed
  • Provide internal mental wellbeing-related training and insights to further develop the programme and expand the audience base
  • Support and participate in organisational-wide events
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Social Work
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an NGO setting, with focus on youth-related projects, including counseling, teaching, or equivalent roles; experience in case management and delivery of training is highly valued
  • Familiarity with the mental health system in Hong Kong and leadership experience in project management will be considered an advantage
  • Exceptional organisational and critical analysis skills, good presentation skills and strong communication skills for stakeholders’ management
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese/Chinese

Job Description

This role focuses on managing 2 core programme area at KELY, Drug and alcohol awareness; Positive Youth development, leading the 2 teams to deliver quality programme to youth audience and support in internal team development.

Responsibilities

  • Report to Senior Programme Manager and assist in the development, delivery, evaluation and reporting for programme under two core focus areas: Drug and Alcohol Awareness and Positive Youth Development
  • Assist Senior Programme Manager in the strategic planning and problem solving including supervision of budgets related to programmes, as well as team development
  • Supervise the work and manage the performance of the two implementation teams, supporting the team to improve and problem-solve on daily operations
  • Maintain daily working relationships with key partners related to programme implementation and development including schools, trainers and other stakeholders
  • Support programme team operation, including delivery of regular team meetings, in order ensure team efficiency
  • Ensure frequent and high quality of youth engagement within the team
  • Work within the guidelines, policies and mission of KELY Support Group

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Public Health, Psychology or related disciplines
  • At least 4-5 years experience in a youth centred or relevant role
  • Experience in project management, including monitoring, programme evaluation and collating reports
  • Excellent understanding of young people and the issues they face in Hong Kong
  • In depth knowledge of the evidence about what works in supporting young people around drug and alcohol and related issues
  • Passionate in working with youth of Hong Kong
  • Positive and enthusiastic temperament, capable of motivating others
  • Willing and able to offer constructive criticism in a helpful and supportive manner
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese

Responsibilities

  • Communications: Develop and execute communications and marketing strategies with the teams to enhance KELY's brand visibility and foster deeper engagement. Take charge of creative and copywriting for our digital platforms and publications.
  • Fundraising: Support annual fundraising campaigns, nurture donor relationships and corporate partnerships. Bring marketing and fundraising campaigns, as well as events, to life across both online and offline channels. Research and identify potential fundraising channels and opportunities.
  • Community Projects Collaboration: Work with programme teams on community projects, contributing from conception to completion.
  • Volunteer Management: Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of our volunteer workforce. Ensure our volunteers feel valued, motivated, and integral to our mission.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage administrative tasks such as handling donation activities, responding to enquiries, generating regular reports, and maintaining our database.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Be ready to take on any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in our dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Degree holder, with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in fundraising, communications, marketing, customer services or related fields.
  • Enthusiastic, creative, detail-minded and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent command of spoken & written English and Chinese
  • Knowledge in digital and social media trends will be an advantage
  • Knowledge in photo or video editing software will be an advantage
