KELY Summer Internship 2022

Hey guys! Summer is around the corner! Are you looking for a fulfilling summer in which you can gain first-hand working experience at a youth organisation? Have you wondered how it would be like working in an NGO? Do you have a passion for youth work? If that is you, this is definitely an opportunity you do not want to miss! 

What will you be doing during the internship?
There will be 2 roles available outline below (we want you to indicate your interest in the application form)

Programme Team Internship

Key roles & responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide research support for KELY programmes and youth related subjects
  • Create social media content
  • Assist in programme content and materials development
  • Support programme sessions and events
  • Initiate youth engagement activity and/or project
  • Attend meetings and training as appropriate
  • Provide administrative support to the programme team as needed
Communication and Development Team Internship

Key roles & responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist in developing content for KELY communications channels - website, social media, podcast etc.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials for corporate branding and events
  • Support stakeholder relationship management
  • Assist in partnership research and solicitation
  • Support the team on daily operation and events

Who can apply for the internship?

  • Age 16 - 21
  • Interested in youth work and gain experience working in NGO
  • Excellent command of spoken and written in both Chinese and English
  • Creative, responsible, willing to learn and a good team-player 
  • Must be able to complete the 4 weeks internship 

What do you need to apply for the internship?

*Please note that it will be an unpaid internship.
