About the Programme
Our workshops offer age-appropriate content for students from different levels of education, where they are equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions on issues related to drugs and alcohol through informative and fun sessions.
Raise Awareness: Enhance students' understanding of the risks, effects, and consequences of drug and alcohol use, including physical, psychological, and social impacts to enable informed decision-making on risky behaviours.
Dispel Myths and Misconceptions: Address common misinformation about drugs and alcohol, particularly media and cultural representations that may normalise substance use.
Develop Resistance Strategies: Equip students with practical skills to resist peer pressure through role-plays and scenario-based activities.
Encourage Healthy Coping Mechanisms: Help students identify and practice healthy ways to manage stress, peer pressure, and life transitions, which are common reasons for substance use among youth.
- Promote Peer Support and Role Modeling: Empower students to become peer supporters to support their friends in making safe choices.
Our workshops for younger students focus more on baseline knowledge, while that for more mature students will focus more on equipping them with resistance skills and strategies. The workshops strive to empower students with the skills to deal with stress and peer pressure, which are the significant factors influencing drug use among young people in Hong Kong. In turn, they can become positive role models for their friends.

Testimonials
I think my favorite parts were being able to share our own ideas about these topics and seeing how much we already know. I also think it is important to learn about the precautions that can be taken in different situations.
I would recommend this workshop to other teachers because it was age-appropriate and practically useful for helping both ourselves and our friends.
