BE PRESENT
Cherish Your Gifts
April is Stress Awareness Month. Riding on this theme, the BE PRESENT: Cherish Your Gifts Youth Wellbeing Carnival was organised to raise awareness for stress relief.
The event combines a fun carnival atmosphere with educational components to promote a healthy attitude towards our young people’s wellbeing. It encourages public participation from all ages to work together with young people to engage the community on mental health awareness.
Date: 29 April (Sat), 30 April (Sun), 1 May (Mon)
Time: 12nn - 7pm
Venue: Central Piazza, Lee Tung Avenue, Wanchai
“Be Present” signifies the importance of “living in the moment” - placing emphasis on nurturing one’s health and happiness in the present moment. It also serves as a reminder that each individual is their own unique gift to the world.
The primary goal is to inspire the public and youth to be mindful and intentional about caring for their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By engaging in activities and experiences that bring joy, fulfilment, and a sense of purpose, participants can fully embrace the present moment.
Apart from KELY Corner, our performance and sharing units, handicrafters, and workshop tutors will each share with the public their own stories around mental health and stress relief.
