Programme Coordinator (Positive Youth Development)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team to deliver school based programmes in both Chinese and English communities
  • Monitor and evaluate programme impact
  • Establish and maintain relationships with different stakeholders
  • Provide support in the development of new programmes and other initiatives where needed
  • Support and participate in organisation events
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required and weekend work occasionally

Requirements

  • Registered Social Worker (degree holder in Social Work) 
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an NGO setting
  • Experience in working with young people would be preferable
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
  • Experience in programme evaluation and team management would be preferable                     
  • Good presentation skills and experience in implementing youth development programmes         
  • Strong organisational and critical analysis skills

  • Coordinate, lead and deliver school based drug and alcohol prevention education and outreach programmes in both Chinese and English communities
  • Monitor and evaluate programme impact
  • Establish and maintain relationships with different stakeholders
  • Provide support in the development of new programmes and other initiatives where needed
  • Support and participate in organisation event
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required and weekend work occasionally

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Social Work, Public Health or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an NGO setting
  • Experience in working with young people or mental health area would be preferable
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English; comprehension of Cantonese will be an asset
  • Experience in programme evaluation would be preferable
  • Good presentation skill and knowledge in delivering workshop
  • Strong organisational and critical analysis skills
