Youth Services Officer


  • Deliver workshops in English and Chinese in Secondary Schools in an engaging way
  • Monitor and evaluate evidence-based programmes in English in Secondary Schools
  • Establish & maintain relationships and networks with programme participants (young people), mentors, schools, other stakeholders
  • Provide support in the development of new programmes and other initiatives where needed
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required


  • Degree holder in Social Work, Public Health or related discipline
  • Minimum one year experience in one of the following: NGO setting, training and facilitation or other relevant work
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese and the ability to communicate effectively with young people in both languages
  • An understanding of issues faced by Chinese speaking young people, Ethnic Minority groups and non-Chinese speaking young people
  • The ability to relate to young people, develop rapport and be seen as credible by them is essential
  • Good interpersonal skills with critical analysis, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Confidently deliver workshops and presentations in Chinese and English
  • Dynamic and have a good rapport with young people

This is a 2-year renewable contract.
