Communications & Development Officer

Responsibilities

  • Assist in fundraising events and activities from organising, logistic and execution
  • Liaise and follow up with strategic partners for joint promotion activities
  • Manage databases and maintenance for campaign activities
  • Assist in identifying, developing and executing various marketing initiatives
  • Volunteer recruitment and manage the database
  • Prepare marketing communications materials – printed, online, web, emailing, etc. to raise the profile of KELY’s programmes and services
  • Help manage the social media channels and social media development
  • Collect market intelligence, research and prepare reports

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma or above in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Have at least one year of working experience in marketing / public relations
  • Possess excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Energetic, creative and dynamic
  • Detail-minded, well-organised, strong sense of responsibility and able to handle multiple-tasks
  • Good team player, self-motivated and good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Immediate available is highly preferable

Youth Services Officer

Responsibilities

  • Deliver programmes, and drug and alcohol awareness workshops in English at Secondary Schools
  • Establish relationships and engage with youth participants during and outside of programme
  • Assist in workshop planning and programme evaluation
  • Coordinate student volunteers
  • Assist in managing social media account
  • Assist in day-to-day team operations and perform ad hoc duties as needed
  • Perform weekend work occasionally

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Social Science, Public Health or related disciplines
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English; comprehension of Cantonese will be preferable
  • Experience in working with young people in various settings
  • Ability to deliver workshops and presentation in small or large scale setting
  • Strong team player with ability and confidence to work independently
  • Non-judgmental and empathetic, with the ability to relate to young people
