Join KELY Support Group to empower young people to reach their full potential
Responsibilities
- Deliver youth drug and alcohol awareness workshops / prorgramme in both English and Cantonese
- Establish relationships and engage with youth participants inside and outside of programme
- Assist in online learning materials delivery and managing social media account
- Assist in workshop planning and programme evaluation
- Coordinate student volunteers/interns
- Assist in day-to-day team operations and perform ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements
- Degree holder in Social Work, Social Science, Public Health or related disciplines
- Excellent command of spoken and written in both Chinese and English
- Experience in working with young people in various settings
- Ability to deliver workshops and presentations in small or large scale settings
- Previous experience with online education will be an advantage
- Strong team player with the ability and confidence to work independently
- Non-judgmental and empathetic, with the ability to relate to young people

Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate, and implement programme under one of KELY’s core focus areas – Mental Health & Wellbeing
- Manage the planning, implementation, reporting, monitoring and evaluation process of programme impact, providing regular updates to all parties involved including Programme Manager
- Manage, supervise and support team member in taking youth cases
- Liaise with other mental health organisations / services to make necessary referrals of youth cases and continue building relationship for future collaborations
- Support the team in providing programme specific on job training to internal staff
- Support the team in responding and managing youth mental health crisis across KELY
- Provide support in mental health and wellbeing programmes and other initiatives where needed
- Support and participate in organisational wide events
- Perform ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Degree holder in Counselling, Social Work or related Allied Health discipline, a Master’s Degree in any of the above would be an advantage
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in an NGO setting and experience in working with youth related projects including counselling, teacher or an equivalent
- Understanding the local mental health system in Hong Kong would be an advantage. Existing knowledge in NGOs supporting the mental health of the youth
- Leadership experience in project management would be preferable
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
- Experience in case management and delivery of training is a priority
- Good presentation skills and ability to manage stakeholders with strong communication skills
- Strong organisational and critical analysis skills
