Programme Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate, lead and implement special projects under one of KELY’s core focus areas –Mental Health & Wellbeing.
  • Support strategic planning and content development of KELY mental health and wellbeing programme
  • Manage the planning, implementation, reporting, monitoring and evaluation process of programme impact, providing regular updates to all parties involved including Programme Manager.
  • Liaise with other mental health organisations/services to make necessary referrals of youth cases and continue building relationship for future collaborations to support KELY’s target youth
  • Support Programme Manager in providing programme specific on job training to internal staff 
  • Support Programme Manager in responding and managing youth mental health crisis across KELY programme
  • Provide support in the development of new programmes and other initiatives in building capacity of the Programme team where needed
  • Support and participate in organisational wide events
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required and weekend work occasionally

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Counselling, Social Work or related Allied Health discipline, a Master’s Degree in any of the above would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in an NGO setting and experience in working with youth related projects including counselling, teacher or an equivalent.
  • Good understanding on how the local mental health system works in Hong Kong would be an advantage.
  • Existing knowledge in NGOs supporting the mental health of the youth.
  • Leadership experience in project management would be preferable
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
  • Experience in case management and delivery of training is a priority.
  • Good presentation skills and ability to manage stakeholders with strong communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and critical analysis skills

Programme Coordinator / Youth Services Officer (Drug & Alcohol Service)

Responsibilities

·       Lead, coordinate and deliver school based drug and alcohol prevention education and outreach programmes in both Chinese and English communities
·       Monitor and evaluate programme impact
·       Supervise and curate social media content
·       Establish and maintain relationships with different stakeholders
·       Provide support in the development of new programmes and other initiatives where needed
·       Support and participate in organisation event
·       Perform ad hoc duties as required and weekend work occasionally

Requirements

·       Degree holder in Public Health, Social Work or related discipline
·       Minimum 3 years experience in an NGO setting
·       Experience in working with young people or mental health area would be preferable
·       Experience and interest in youth related health and wellbeing initiatives would be preferable
·       Excellent command of spoken and written English; comprehension of Cantonese will be an asset
·       Good presentation skill and knowledge in delivering workshop
·       Strong organisational and critical analysis skills
·       Less experience will be considered as Youth Services Officer
