Thank You 2026 Interns for Inspiring Us at KELY!

The "2026 KELY Support Group Summer Internship Programme" has successfully concluded. Congratulations to the five interns who gained valuable work experience during the four-week internship.

This summer, watching our interns grow from exploring new ideas to independently driving projects has brought boundless creativity and energy to KELY.  

Here’s their takeaways from their time at KELY:

Yammy

At KELY, I gained invaluable insights into project management for Drug and Alcohol Awareness Workshops, and got hands-on experience through OpenDoor site visits and running a booth at the Mental Health Fair. It truly fostered my empathy, curiosity, and proactiveness!

Beverly

My internship was truly transformative! From designing a 'City Walk' to building an automated workflow, I was empowered to own real projects. This fast-paced environment sharpened my project management and problem-solving skills. Working alongside a passionate KELY team to empower youth was incredibly rewarding!

Natalie

My internship at KELY was truly meaningful! Assisting with the Youth Mental Health Connector and Youth Summit taught me how thoughtful planning directly meets youth needs. This journey deepened my appreciation for empathy and inclusivity, while strengthening my dedication to youth mental health.

My KELY internship was truly memorable! From event booths to social media, I turned abstract ideas into reality. Direct community outreach also showed me how vital mental health is. KELY’s warm, inclusive culture gave me a safe space to speak up. This journey not only built my professional skills but also taught me the true value of community engagement!

My KELY internship was an incredible journey! Applying my creative and media skills allowed me to design trend-relevant activities to connect with youth. Preparing for the MTR event and Mental Health Fair showed me KELY’s warmth and its “for youth, by youth” ethos firsthand. This opened my eyes to branding power and sparked my passion for social marketing. I’m so grateful for such a great space to grow!
