A Season of Thanks, A Season of Giving

As the season of thanksgiving arrives, I find myself pausing to appreciate the people and moments that have shaped my life — family, friends, colleagues and the wider community that has offered me opportunities and support. In that spirit of gratitude, I would like to gently invite you to consider how we might extend our thanks by supporting KELY Support Group’s signature event, 【Juggling For Joy 2026】.

Thanksgiving reminds us that gratitude is best expressed in action. For many young people in Hong Kong, a simple act of care, an encouraging word, a safe space to talk, a moment of guidance can be transformative. Over nearly two decades in the legal profession and through my volunteer work with the Rotary Club, I have seen how collective, compassionate efforts create stronger communities. KELY transforms that compassion into practical programmes and workshops that build emotional resilience, mentoring that strengthens confidence and crisis support that keeps vulnerable youth connected to help when they need it most.

As a mother, I understand the pressures children face today — academic expectations, social media demands and difficult choices that can affect their wellbeing. These challenges call for more than sympathy; they call for organised, caring responses that give young people skills, confidence and a sense of belonging. KELY’s approach combines peer support with warmth and community connection and【Juggling For Joy 2026】is one occasion where that support is both celebrated and sustained.

There are gentle, meaningful ways you can be part of this work. Sponsor quietly and purposefully: corporate and individual sponsorships help sustain KELY’s programmes over time. Your support need not be loud to be effective; it becomes part of a steady foundation that enables long-term impact.

Gather a small team: form a team with friends, family or colleagues and enjoy the event together. It’s a relaxed, community-focused way to celebrate and raise youth mental health awareness while sharing a few joyful moments. Give what feels right: if joining an event isn’t possible, a small or large donation is a simple, heartfelt way to give thanks through action. Each contribution helps us reach young people who might otherwise fall through the gaps.

Thanksgiving is about gratitude made visible; supporting【Juggling For Joy 2026】is a gentle, communal way to turn appreciation into action for Hong Kong’s young people. Thank you for being part of the circle of care. Together we can help more young people grow with confidence and compassion.
