Alternative Investment and Return
Living in this city that is globally renowned for its excellence in financial services, professionals and investors alike have always been focusing on yield or return, from your stock portfolio to retirement fund, from a development project to private equities, and I am no different from any of them at all.
However, I wonder if you have considered investing in “other alternative investments” where your returns would be denominated not in dollars and cents, but in number of early youth mental health cases found or number of students receiving social and emotional learning knowledge or even reduction in youth alcohol intake? Can’t believe there is such a different “return” on your investment in the same city? Well, I have been investing for over a decade now, and have reaped my returns/rewards whenever I see success stories, meet families and youth, and most importantly seeing their smiling faces.

The more people are engaged in these “alternative” investments, the larger the returns will be. Here is a way you can engage yourself easily, affordably, and yet impactful. KELY has a monthly donation programme, where you can offer as small as the price of a lunch box monthly, to support their works on youth mental health prevention, drug and alcohol prevention and positive Youth development programme. Their wonderful works have been with Hong Kong for the past 30+ years and we need your “investment” in order to reach out to more youth.
I look forward to having you to join in seeking such alternative returns for our youth, our society, our city.
If you are inspired by our work and would like to help us continue making a difference, please consider making a donation to support KELY Support Group. Your contribution can make a real impact.
