"Juggling for Joy 2026" Concludes with Great Success!

On 15 March, 2026, over 800 attendees joined KELY Support Group for the "Juggling for Joy 2026" Juggling Finals and Mental Health Carnival. The event raised over HK$200,000 to fund vital youth services, focusing on our three core service pillars: Mental Health & Wellbeing, Alcohol and Drug Awareness, and Positive Youth Development.

Finding Balance Through Juggling

The day kicked off with an inspiring ceremony featuring officiating guests including Kwun Tong District Councillor Ms. ZHAN Baoyu, actress Ms. Kit Cheung, actor Mr. Vernon Fong, Executive Director Mr. Louis Hou; and the judging panel consisting of juggling expert Mr. Ng Wei-chit (Chit Sir), KELY Ambassador Mr. Vivek Mahbubani, and Ms. Moraine Chan, representative of the Laureus Sport For Good Foundation.

KELY Support Group Co-Chairs Ms. Debbie Mannas and Ms. Benita Chick shared in their opening remarks:

"Juggling is the perfect metaphor for life: With practice and support, young people can find their own rhythm amidst the pressures of school and social life."

Event Highlights:

In-depth Dialogue: Brought together psychotherapists, legal experts, actors, and youth representatives to explore stress management from diverse perspectives.

Creative Booths: Nearly 300 participants engaged with interactive games, while youth-led brands like "Better Days" and "MellowMallow" showcased the creativity of the next generation.

Visual Spectacle: The finals featured stunning performances by student contestants and a professional demo by juggling expert Mr. Ng Wei-chit.

Mind-Body Connection: Led by instructor from the The Centre on Health & Wellness, HKSR, the audience experienced the immediate stress-relief benefits of exercise through Flexi-bar sessions.

Community Spirit: 28 volunteers (including 25 passionate students), contributed 200 hours of service, providing the warmest support for the event.

Looking Forward: KELY’s 35th Anniversary

As the event closed, Executive Director Mr. Louis Hou officially announced that KELY is entering its 35th Anniversary. Stay tuned for a year of celebrations dedicated to supporting the holistic growth of Hong Kong’s youth!
