To cheer up
Dear mom,
Dad has been out of work for a year and I know that you are very worried. You fear that he may not be able to provide for the family, which causes the burden to rest on you solely, and that he himself will be distressed. I understand that the market is gloomy during the pandemic and dad’s unemployment will likely persist for quite a while, which means you will have to be the breadwinner for some time in the future. However, we are not the only family caught in the pandemic.
While we should not take comfort from the fact that many other families are similarly affected, we should be grateful for what we have and count our blessings. Please also rest assured that there will be always be sunshine after stormy, depressing days. Please always emember that you will not be alone – we will always be there when you return home from work. Add oil!
