To apologise for a fight
Dear Mom and Dad,
The saying goes, “tongue is the strongest muscle”. With this powerful piece of organ, one can utter hateful words and leave indelible marks on the victims. On this wall, I leave a heartfelt apology for the argument that night that has stung deeply in our hearts. I know very well that whilst hurtful expressions made at the heat of altercations are often known to be unintended, they are irreversible. I hope you would understand that the apoplectic me was not the real me.
You are awesome parents and I regret what I had said. It still bothers me whenever I think about what happened that night. I wish I could go back in time, put out the fire before it raged, and swallow all the expletives before they ever erupted. You two mean the world to me.
